What exactly is the hired guns service?

Hired guns is simply the name for our custom photography event service in which we are retained prior to an event to photograph a certain individual or number of individuals during a certain time period and then provide images after the event on DVD for the client.

How does it work?

The hired guns service is meant for clients that are seeking the services of a seasoned professional photographer experienced in covering events, most especially sports action as well as dance and theatrical performances. Rather than hoping an image or two is captured of their athlete or dancer/performer, they prefer to engage our services to assure tens to hundreds of images of their athlete presented in a professional manor.

If you wish to provide this service for your athlete, you'll need to call us at 610-264-1331 or email us before the event to give us the details as well as determine if we have an available professional for the date and time you request. We'll review this information and do our best to help achieve the result you're looking for.

Depending on location, date, and number of individuals requested, this service costs between $75-$400 per athlete during standard business days, including weekends; holidays are extra. Contact us as soon as possible as we are sometimes booked months ahead for prime days and weekends.

After editing and professional review of the images, they are then burned to a DVD and sent to you, the client, within about 4-7 business days. These images can be used by you for your personal use. Professional use of our images for any reason requires further discussion.

What is required of me as the client?

The simplest thing to do is to call or email us at your earliest convenience to discuss the details involved, we then send you a retainer booking agreement to confirm the event.

After this, we simply collect the retainer fee and schedule your event.

The DVD is then shipped to you within 4-7 business days after the event.

Your images can also be posted on our website for others to see and to order our custom posters and other photo products.

What about large events and tournaments?

Hired guns can be run in conjunction with an event or tournament anywhere in the country. Each event is very different but in most cases we send an email out to all the registered athletes for an event and accumulate interested participants up to about 10 days before the event. We then schedule the appropriate number of staff and photographers to provide the requested images.
